After his time in New York, where he crossed paths with artists like David Kikoski, Gadi Lehavi, Brian Marsella, Dave Douglas, Bobby Sanabria, or Emilio Solla, Antonio Grande Quintet presents in Barcelona “Heaven,” his second album recorded in Barcelona with Sol Escobar, Félix Rossy, Jaume Ferrer, Víctor de Diego, Juan Pablo Egusquiza, Manuel Luque, and Luis ‘Chul’ Miranda. The album includes original compositions from the New School in New York and standards. For him, Barcelona means a lot as he studied his Jazz Piano career at the Conservatori del Liceu with Albert Bover and Roger Mas as mentors.

The album’s title represents that Barcelona is like a paradise for him where he has met wonderful people, learned and enjoyed a lot, and fortunately, it is also a city where Jazz is very present.
